We The Champz NFL Top 10 Wide Receiver Rankings

  • We’re in 2023 where we throw the ball more than ever. The wide receiver is one of the most important positions on the field. What makes a good receiver? Hands, route running, yac(yards after catch) and just pure ability to make a play. Here is the We The Champz top 10 list but before lets show our honorable mentions some love.

Missed the cut. Ceedee lamb, Kenan Allen, Jaylen Waddle, Amon-Ra St. Brown, D.K Metcalf, Terry Mclaurin, Devonta Smith, D.J Moore, Tee Higgins, Mike Will. wow, there are just too many.

 

10. Deebo Samuel

The swiss army knife. Samuel is a unique position less player. A  versatile yac machine that combines speed, quickness and power. His understanding of position and angles to line up at running back and receiver makes him a nightmare for defenses.

9. Mike Evans

Death, taxes, and Mike Evans having a 1000 yard season. All Evans has done is produce since he came to Tampa Bay. Evans combines size and strength with an uncanny ability to create separation with his elite short area quickness and masterful technique. Evans is a machine with no signs of slowing down to put this into perseverance. Receivers with 10 straight 1000 yard seasons, Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, and Mike Evans after the 2023 season.

8. DeAndre “D-Hop” Hopkins

2022 Stats  64 rec  717 yds  3 td

The games premier jump ball master. Hopkins is the games best contested jump artist. He has the size, speed and great route running. Hopkins has an excellent understanding of where to be at the most crucial times. The 2022 season was down on production due to his 6 game P.E.D suspension and injury. Likely to be traded, D-Hop will have an impact with whoever is throwing the pigskin.

7. Jamar Chase

Chase has been electric since his arrival in Cincinnati in continuing his amazing rapport with LSU teammate and quarterback Joe Burrow. Bold enough to call himself the best receiver in football. Built like a running back with the speed to win in space.  Chase is an explosive weapon that could easily lead the league in receiving in 2023.

6. A.J. Brown

2022 Stats  88 rec  1496 yds  11 td

The games premier big bodied receiver has blazing speed with an exceptional contested catch ability. Already one of the better talents he finally broke out with the stats to match due to being healthy a full season. The upgrade to Jalen Hurts  at quarterback didn’t hurt either. Officially one of the best receivers, Brown was a big reason to the Eagles offense being potent.

5. Devante Adams

2022 Stats  119 rec  100 rec  1516 yds

Such a true receiving magician right here. Adams returns after leading all receivers with 14 touchdowns in 2022. He has finished no lower than 5th at the position since 2020. Adams is the best beating defenders off the line with his exceptional release, which cause for a route that’s already won. His knack for getting open in space and catching passes over the middle is almost unparalleled. Adams will keep it rolling with Jimmy G as his new pass thrower.

4. Cooper Kupp

2022 Stats  75 rec  812 yds  6 td

When healthy few are better than 145 rec, 1947 yds, and 16 touchdowns. The triple crown king reigned supreme in the 2021 season. Injuries limited him to 9 games in 2022 while still on pace for a fantastic season. Kupp combines savvy route running. and excellent hands as a  dynamo space winning slot machine. He’s also bigger than he looks at 6’2 208 lbs.

3. Tyreek “Cheetah” Hill

2022 Stats  119 rec  1710 yds  7 td

Enter the Cheetah, the games premier burner, field stretcher. Fresh off of winning the men’s 60 m indoor masters championship. The speed and body control is off the charts. The yac he accumulates in stride or pivots are make a homerun possible from any spot on the field. Who knew moving to the sunshine state would increase Hills production?

2. Stefon Diggs

2022 Stats  108 rec  1429 yds  11 td

What a great route runner Stefon Diggs is. Where would this offense truly be without him? A masterful technician capable of winning at all three levels. A touchdown machine on deep throws from Josh Allen. His ability to catch it short and burn you down the field is where he excels. Diggs is a complete player at his position.

1. Justin J Jetta Jefferson

2022 Stats  128 rec  1809 yds  8 td

The games premier receiver at the number one spot. The 2022 Offensive player of the year will be back and ready to lead Minnesota on another playoff run. Jefferson is a three level technician. he also sports one of the games best pair of hands, just think back to the game against the Buffalo Bills. Most of all he has one of the worlds best displays of the griddy. A top tier touchdown celebration from a top tier Football player
