We The Champz Early NFL Power Rankings 1-10
NFL kick off is four months away. The draft and big free agency has been solidified. Now with rosters built, let’s see who ranks amongst the top contenders in power rankings.
1. Eagles
Coming back after having the most loaded roster last season, they retained their pro bowl corners along with reloading the trenches with dogs, literally. Expect the super bowl runner ups to stay here for awhile.
2. Chiefs
Is it disrespectful to have the defending champz at number 2? Maybe, there have been some significant changes to the o-line and d-line. The Chiefs also have head scratching midseason hiccups on the regular. As we have learned that with Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes, none of that matters. The Chiefs wont see much movement hear unless it’s up.
3. Bengals
Joe Burrow and company are so talented it’s scary. They can run the ball and pass with such efficiency. They let a few talented players go but they drafted well and should have no problems staying in championship contention.
4.Bills
Hey the bills have Josh Allen and one of the top defenses in this league. The addition of players who can help this offense from getting whacky is key. Look for the knock out punches to keep coming, but with a little more consistency in moments of adversity.
5. 49ers
There are a few players here that are getting up there in age, but this roster is just as talented as the Eagles squad. Uncertainty surrounding the QB position with Brock Purdy injured keeps them on the rim of number 5. Can Sam Darnold or Trey Lance lead this team to success?
6. Cowboys
Losing Kellen Moore at offensive coordinator is definitely a hit to this team. However the additions of Brandin Cooks and Stephon Gilmore keeps Dallas oozing with talent. Along with a decent draft. i mean they only missed the NFC Championship game by a pick six.
7. Ravens
The Ravens served up the stingiest defense from last season and I expect that to continue. They signed OBJ and drafted Zay Flowers to finally bolster up this wide receiver room. Expect an elevation in the play of super deal quarterback Lamar Jackson. There won’t be any surprises here.
8. Jags
The prince that was promised has ascended in quarterback Trevor Lawrence. I really wanted to take the Chargers in the 8th spot but with this young growing talent and a weak division it’s hard to think otherwise. Head coach Doug Pederson leading this team is the stamp for my edge in the power rankings.
9. Chargers
The top level players and special quarterback in Los Angeles give great reasons to be optimistic. We give Brandon Staley a little leeway due to the injuries sustained last year.
10. Jets
This was a tough pick between the Dolphins. I believe in stability at the quarterback position. Welcome to New York Aaron Rodgers. There are hitters all on this team. Time to live up to lofty expectations.
Just missed the cut.
