D-Hop Sweepstakes. Teams that need to sign Deandre Hopkins to become Champz or develop.
Alright we have one of the best wide receivers the game has seen in Deandre Hopkins as a pending free agent. The pro wideout is 31 years of age and slightly past his prime. However he is still far from his twilight. Whether your need D-Hop to take your contending team over the top or to help your young quarterback grow. His services are still top notch after posting 717 yards on 64 catches with 9 games played in the 2022 season.
Carolina Panthers
If D-Hop wants to receive a nice check and play with a good quarterback then going to Charlotte is the move. The Panthers have their number one overall pick in Bryce Young and the third most cap space in the league. The Panthers have made a lot of changes on the offensive side of the ball primarily shifting their receiver corps. Bringing in Adam Thielen and D.J Chark gives them a couple sets of sure handed vets. Signing D-Hop would only give the young signal caller a confidence that can’t be broken. Odds for Carolina taking the crown in an unpredictable division would sky rocket. This would also be the closest location to a homecoming for the South Carolina native.
Baltimore Ravens
Lamar is signed for long term. They drafted WR Zay Flowers with the first round pick. Odell Beckham was signed to a 1 year deal in the off season. Everybody is smiling but we could be smiling a little brighter. The defense won games for them while Lamar was absent, and they almost won a post season nail biter against the Bengals. The defense is over the top so lets make the offense as well. This is clearly the most talented receiver room in Baltimore we have seen in sometime. Right now they lack insurance. Odell is always broken, Rashod Bateman has only played half of his games since entering the league 2 years ago and Devin Duvernay is coming off of foot surgery. Not only does D-Hop brings you a weapon to compete against the AFC juggernauts, he delivers insurance to a brittle position group on a win now roster.
Houston Texans
Here we have another rookie quarterback trying to make his mark in the league in C.J Stroud. This destination will be a “professional” homecoming for D-Hop. Going full circle to the first franchise that admired you is a feat we’ve seen quite often in the NFL. On this rebuilding roster with a new coach you should definitely be taking steps to make your young quarterback comfortable.
Cleveland Browns
Familiarity and chemistry and chemistry can never be underrated. Just look at how the Golden State Warriors have been great for so long. They came back to take an NBA title while only retaining three core players from past championships. Deshaun Watson and D-Hop made magic during their time together in Houston. The Browns have some ok talent at wide receiver outside of Amari Cooper. This Browns team have their quarterback and a roster built to make a deep playoff run. D-Hop will be that key piece to fill in those minute margins to victory against opposing NFL contenders.
